Everyone’s favorite ABC thriller Scandal is winding down — but that hasn’t stopped Kerry Washington from celebrating in style.
During the final week of shooting the Shonda Rhimes drama, the Scandal star surprised her fellow cast and crew on set with a post-series survival kit including workout classes, sneakers, food, and books.
To top off her farewell kit Washington gifted the entire cast and crew of Scandal with new Tomorrow hybrid mattresses. “I wanted to end with a mattress [because] I felt like I wanted us to feel the gratitude and joy of what we experienced together,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “We really are a family so it’s not weird that we’re giving each other mattresses.”
After seven season’s worth of late nights and early mornings Washington knows the importance of a quality mattress. “They’re insanely amazing,” she told Entertainment Tonight during her Tomorrow giveaway. “I feel a teeny bit like Oprah Winfrey today.”
